If you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you may be able to sponsor certain close relatives to come to Australia.

Relatives who may be sponsored include your parents (subject to certain requirements), your spouse, de facto partner or fiance, or your dependent children.

These visa options are not related to the person's skills or occupation.

If you have a closely relative who is under 45 years of age, has a skilled occupation and works in that occupation or a related occupation, and has at least vocational English, you may be able to sponsor that person  to come to Australia under one of the family sponsored skilled visa options.
